The Church of the Living Water loves kids.
Kids are welcome here. They’re expected here. Along with all the things that come along with kids: the hugs, dancing, thoughtfulness, smiles, cute drawings, adorably innocent questions about life, and also the spilled juice, cracker crumbs, crying, occasional screaming, running around, and mild chaos.
Our church simply loves kids, and they are 100% welcome here, in all aspects.
“Let the little children come to me.”
—Jesus
Babies to Age 4
We have a nursery room for kids aged 0-4 years old. It’s filled with all sorts of kid-safe toys. We employ an experienced childcare worker who watches kids here during the church service. Parents, you are welcome to drop their kids off here before the service. Take a break, mom and dad! Your kids are in good hands. Or feel free to keep them with you in the service if you want to—and you can always head to the nursery room if they get noisy.
You’re also welcome to stay in the nursery with your child during the service if you prefer, or to pop in anytime to check on them.
Kids Ages 5-10
During the sermon we have activity boxes for kids aged 5-10 years old to help keep little hands busy. And we don’t mind if they make a little noise from time to time, that’s normal. Some Sundays we have a special “kids sermon” for them before the main sermon. Our teaching is pretty easy to follow and we find that our kids tend to pick up a lot from the teaching, right along with the adults.
